When you create an account we process your email address, display name, account identifiers and sign-in information. If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides the identity information required for that connection. We do not receive your Google password. Account authentication is provided through Supabase.
We save the library entries, reading positions, bookmarks and reading preferences you choose to use. We also process your submitted ratings, likes, reports, support requests and author applications. Information you submit for publication may become public after review; private applications, support requests and payment records are restricted to the account and authorized staff.
Paystack handles payment entry and processing. Navirella receives the references, transaction status and billing information needed to verify purchases, deliver benefits, handle renewal and reconcile disputes or refunds. Do not include card or banking secrets in a support message.
We use this information to deliver the service you request, administer purchases and accounts, respond to requests, prevent abuse and protect service reliability. Contractual needs, applicable legal obligations and legitimate service-security interests support these activities. Where optional advertising processing requires consent, we request it through the configured consent provider.
Supabase supplies authentication, database and file storage; Vercel hosts the application; Google supplies sign-in and, where enabled, advertising and consent services; Paystack processes payments. These providers may process information outside Nigeria. Access is limited to what is needed for the relevant service and its protection. We do not send private chapter bodies or account credentials as advertising data.
On eligible pages where advertising is enabled, the consent message explains applicable advertising choices. You can revisit those choices using the provider's Privacy and cookie settings link. Authentication, account-security and payment entry pages do not serve third-party ads. Blocking or declining advertising does not prevent you from reading content to which you have access.
Account and reading information is retained while needed to provide your account. Transaction, security and support records may need to remain for reconciliation, legal obligations or resolving disputes after account closure. We review deletion requests against these needs; backups and service logs follow the applicable provider retention settings.
You may ask to access, correct or delete your information and, where applicable, restrict or object to processing, obtain a portable copy, or withdraw consent. Write to hello@navirella.com or open a private support request. We may verify your identity before acting. You may also raise a concern with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission at ndpc.gov.ng.
